I've just added John Grey's deliciously dark poem "Occupational Hazards" to the poetry contents at Raven Electrick. John didn't send an audio, so you'll just have to absorb his poem the old-fashioned way. :-)
On the subject of Raven Electrick, might as well use this opportunity to remind everyone that Raven will be opening to submissions on February 1, less than one week away. I'm looking forward to it, kind of in that way I used to look forward to college classes--all excited about the new opportunities until the evening of the first day, when I realized how much work I was going to have to do. :-)
In personal news, there's been some bad health mojo swirling around me for the past couple of days, and I hope it clears up soon. I'm kind of private, and not into that confessional blog kind of thing, but in the past three days, I've had health concerns about myself, then hubby, and then my dad (who is in hospital, but should be out Friday or Saturday). I spent way too much time today alternating between pacing the floor and deep breathing. Anyway, everyone is alive, and so far the prognosis is good for all concerned, but positive vibes are still appreciated.
