I've made three more purchases for the Sporty Spec: Games of The Fantastic anthology. I'm going to keep a running list of accepted pieces, and I'll put the new additions in bold.
Paul L. Bates, "Prey," fantasy/hunting story.
Ruth Berman, "Dealing in Tarot," fantasy/cards poem.
G. O. Clark, "Virtual Pong Circa 35,000 B.C.," sf/pong poetry reprint (Pirate Writings Magazine, Vol. 4, No. 4, 1996.)
Jo L. Gerrard, "Somewhere, the Sun is Shining," sf/baseball story.
Marge Simon, "Ebonmadder's Run," poetry/racing reprint (Space & Time, Spring 2000).
Marcie Lynn Tentchoff, "Star Boarding," sf/sailboarding poem.
I've now answered all submissions through Sunday, May 6th and a few here and there beyond.
In the tip department, someone asked if I'm willing to buy more than one piece per author. At this point, I would say yes, provided that the two pieces are about different sports/games AND the two pieces are a story and a poem (not two poems or two stories). This might change, as things progress.
Keep sending those subs!
