Bob and I returned home on Thursday evening from another wonderful stay in Malibu. (Yes, there will be pictures--plenty of gorgeous sunsets as always--as soon as I get a little more organized.) In the meantime, I wanted to mention one of those "you can't make this stuff up" happenings we experienced on the freeway during the ride home.

On the back of a car in the left lane was a bumper sticker that read "Christmas is a Holyday." (Emphasis theirs.) In the right lane was a car which had sticking out from its trunk a red velvet sleeve with a white cuff. Extending from the cuff was a (plastic) hand drenched in blood. (It must be St. Nick's!)

You gotta love America. :-)
