Here's a photo of Peggy's Cove taken back then. Bob had a postdoctoral fellowship at Dalhousie University for a year. The two things that shocked us most about living in Canada both had to do with food: They put their pizza toppings UNDER the cheese (at least our local pizza place did) and there was only one brand of everything at the supermarket: cookies, salad dressing, etc. That was pretty much the extent of the culture shock. :-)
